About Us
About Us
Anything Computer, Inc.

Like most computer people, I started doing computer side work for employees I worked with.  Before long, I had more work than what I could handle by myself, so I started sharing the work load with a fellow co-worker, Justen Noyes and an independent computer hardware consultant, John Goodrich.  In 1998, we founded Anything Computer, LLC. and our primary focus was to offer computer support services to small businesses and residential customers.  A lot has changed over the years but what has remained constant is our passion to provide excellent IT services.  Going forward we will continue to look for new opportunities to add to our existing portfolio of core service and at the same time we will also constantly strive to improve the way we provide our existing service.

History of our Company

2011 - We made several upgrades in the datacenter.  First we upgraded the server's disk arrays to RAID6 arrays.  We implemented an IPMI solution on our servers for improved remote system access and advanced monitoring and alert notification.  We upgraded the VmWare operating system to the latest ESXi version 5.0 and a new backup solution that effectively eliminated three hours of maintenance down time every week.  We also migrated our DNS services to DNS MadeEasy to better improve redundancy for our services and to add additional notification services when an internet connection goes down.  We added another 6TB of disk space to our NAS server.  We also updated our website again and added a mobile friendly version of our website to the internet.  Finally, we wrapped up work on our largest website project to date and deployed a new website for Posey County Indiana.

2010 -
We expanded our portfolio of core services to include Recycling services through a partnership with C & I Electronics, Inc.  We also made several upgrades in the datacenter starting with a second connection to the internet to provide redundancy, load balancing and faster response times for our customers.  We also redesigned our network making access to our network from the internet much more secure.  We also upgraded our NAS server and added an additional 8TB of disk for a total of 12TB of disk space.  In 2010 we also redesigned our website to make it more user friendly.  We also launched our Company's Facebook page and our Twitter account.

2009 - We implemented several new tools that were aimed at helping us improve the way we were providing our core services.  We implemented a new remote access application to help reduce the time it takes to respond to our customers needs.  We implemented a new NAS server in the datacenter to increase our available disk space for storage and backups.  We also  converted all of our servers to Windows 2008 R2.  Finally, we added new functionality to our email hosting services by upgrading our mail servers to the the current release of Kerio Connect, version 7.  We also implemented monitoring services so the system could notify us when the potential for a system outage existed.

2008 - We saw another opportunity to grow our business and we added two new services to our portfolio of core services.  First we added Application Development services to our portfolio of core services.  We then partnered with a local programming consultant, Nic Harnishfeger, to support this new service as well as provide support for our other core services.  We also partnered with Kerio and added Email Hosting services to our portfolio of core services.

2006 - We upgraded the datacenter.  We started by converting all the servers we had to virtual server sessions and we consolidated all the physical servers down to one physical server that was running VMWare 2.01 Server.  We also upgraded the operating system on all of our servers to the newly released Windows 2003 R2 server operating system.  Finally, we added a backup generator system to the facility to help increase our uptime availability.

2003 - We incorporated the business to be Anything Computer, Inc.  We also partnered with several vendors like Dell, Hewlett Packard, Microsoft, 3Com, Linksys, Netgear, St. Bernard and Symantec to help improve our abitlity to provide Technical Support services and Web Hosting services.  We also expanded our portfolio of core services and added Website Development and partnered with a graphics design consultant, Naomi Hunsaker, located in Davis California to support this new service.

2000 - We expanded our customer base to include mid-sized businesses and the Evansville Westside school diocese.  We also constructed a datacenter with servers running on the newly released Windows 2000 server platform.  After the construction was completed, we expanded our portfolio of core services to include Web Hosting.
